Pickupp Collaborates with Stellar Lifestyle

Minister Gan Kim Yong received by our CEO, Crystal Pang, at our Pickupp Service Point in Hive by Stellar Lifestyle on 20 October. Singapore, 20 October 2022 ---Stellar Lifestyle, has teamed up with Pickupp, the logistics technology company, to set up a last-mile fulfilment network around Singapore train stations. This strategic partnership aims to optimise delivery response times and lower the cost of deliveries for retail merchants in a sustainable manner. This comes timely as Singapore continues to see an influx of e-commerce traction, with forecasted CAGR at 16.2%, approximately S$14.2bn in market value by 2025. As the largest managing agent of retail and advertising spaces in Singapore’s rail system, Stellar Lifestyle has over 600 retailers located around train stations islandwide, allowing Pickupp to tap on its vast network to strategically place its service points.

Multi-Delivery Functions and Opportunities To Support Efficient Deliveries

For a start, Pickupp is opening its first service point with Hive by Stellar Lifestyle in October 2022 to service retailers in the central region, including Marina Square, South Beach, Suntec City and Citylink. This will add to Pickupp’s current set of eight service points across neighbourhoods in Singapore. Being situated in Hive by Stellar Lifestyle will provide greater convenience and opportunities for consumers and businesses to perform multi-delivery functions through Pickupp’s platform. Working adults can also join Pickupp’s growing pool of walker delivery agents to deliver on their way to and from work.

Sustainability-led Deliveries

This network-as-a-service approach is also intended to improve sustainability within the e-commerce landscape by reducing the extensive use of vehicles and therefore carbon emission from deliveries. Data will also be leveraged from Pickupp’s proprietary technology to interpret patterns and trends that will identify the best locations within Stellar Lifestyle’s transit properties to optimise deliveries for all tenants in and outside Stellar Lifestyle’s network. This partnership with Stellar Lifestyle reinforces Pickupp’s commitment to sustainability by streamlining delivery routes, increasing revenues for delivery agents and improving cost management for businesses.” As part of Pickupp’s roadmap, plans are in the works to open more service points across the train network around Singapore, in particular those train stations that can support and accelerate deliveries between Singapore and Malaysia. Pickupp’s expanding network of islandwide pick-up and drop-off service points has enhanced its capacity to continuously diversify its product portfolio and offerings across all industries and verticals.
